The Elsa Police Department has issued a critical missing person alert for a 76-year-old man.

Lauro Trevino was last seen around 4:30 a.m. in the 200 block of West Ciro Caseres Street in Elsa, wearing cargo shorts and a red and orange shirt.

Elsa police are conducting drone operations in an effort to locate Trevino.

Police are asking residents in the area to check their properties, yards, sheds, vehicles and surveillance or doorbell camera footage for any possible sightings of Trevino.
