WESLACO – Some Rio Grande Valley families tell us they paid thousands for a pool and patio, but what they got was an unfinished job.

On Tuesday, CHANNEL 5 NEWS reported about a woman who paid more than $17,000 for a home project, but the contractor disappeared.

Now, that same company is believed to have victimized more than one family.

A pool and patio contractor by the name of "Real Grill Masters" has become a household name for some Valley people – and not for their success.

A Valley man says he fell for the lies by hiring Real Grill Masters twice, once for a pool and again for a cabin; $50,000 later the contractor is nowhere to be found.
