Pharr Crunch Fitness reopens following closure over delinquent taxes
Crunch Fitness in Pharr has resumed operations following a closure by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts for delinquent taxes.
The gym announced on Facebook that it reopened on Friday, Sept. 11.
"The taxpayer has entered into a payment agreement with our agency and is able to resume business operations at the facility," a Texas Comptroller spokesperson said.
The gym accumulated a total of $398,133.76 in delinquent taxes between September 2019 and July 2025.
