SAN BENITO - A Rio Grande Valley business says they were promised a lower payment on their energy bill, but now they are paying more than double.

Last year the monthly light bill for Chuy's Customs Sports was a couple hundred dollars, now their last bill was over $4,000.

The energy supplier, Entrust Energy tells us the owners, Jesus and Rosanna Aguilera, saw a spike due to the high temperatures over the past few weeks,

The broker who sold them the new contract explains the Aguilera’s were on an index contract, which he says means charges will vary every month.

The Better Business Bureau President, Dolores Salinas, explains if you are stuck in a contract and feel were lied to you can file a complaint.
