San Juan Motorcycle Officer Patrolling School Traffic Struck by Vehicle
SAN JUAN – A San Juan police officer was struck by a vehicle while on patrol for the first day of school.
Officer Anthony Flores was riding his motorcycle when the driver of an SUV failed to yield, according to Chief Juan Gonzalez.
The officer suffered internal bruising and stitches on his elbow
Gonzalez says he is in good spirits now.
The officer was released from the hospital Monday afternoon.
The crash remains under investigation.
