DONNA - A person was charged Friday in connection to a robbery near Donna.

33-year-old Edgar Gonzalez Vasquez is facing aggravated robbery charges.

Police said the incident occurred at a home on the 15000 block of Colima Drive near Donna.  

Authorities said Gonzalez approached the victim and asked if he wanted to buy diapers. When the victim gave the man the money, he allegedly showed a handgun and took off with the cash.

Gonzalez was given a $500,000 bond.
