BROWNSVILLE - Supporters and members of the League of United Latin American Citizens gathered to march, mobilize and register to vote.

Around 20 people went out to walk from Texas Southmost Campus to Brownsville City Hall in an effort to encourage the Latino vote.

It was called the Freedom Walk for Justice and members of LULAC say it's to encourage voters to make a change.

LULAC holds unity walks in 15 cities across eight different states to help community members register to vote.
