UTRGV men's soccer will make its Ohio Valley Conference debut this Saturday at home against Lindenwood.

The Vaqueros are familiar with the Lions after playing against them the previous two seasons, but this will be the first match as conference opponents.

"They're a good team," UTRGV men's soccer head coach Bryheem Hancock said. "They won the regular season and conference tournament, so obviously they're the team that got the votes to be the champions this year. So we got to play better than them on Saturday."

"Looking at their records, they like to score goals, so hopefully we can stop them and keep a clean sheet on the weekend and that's only gonna work through our hard work and our willingness to win especially at home because we want to go undefeated," sophomore goalkeeper Conrad Knight added.

UTRGV wrapped up non-conference play with back-to-back road loses and will look to get back in the win column at home on Saturday, with the first whistle set for 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
