NEAR BROWNSVILLE – Officials at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, along with other local leaders, unveiled the new STARGATE Technology Center.

The facility, located near the SpaceX Boca Chica Beach site, will allow students to work on space technology development that will benefit SpaceX and others.  

UTRGV associate professor Frederick Jenet says he hopes the community will help continue to build the ecosystem for a space exploration boom here in the Valley.
