16 People to be Arraigned in Connection to Edinburg Voter Fraud Case

EDINBURG - More than a dozen people will be formally arraigned in a huge voter fraud scheme out of Edinburg.

The suspects are all accused of voting illegally in the 2017 city elections.

On Thursday, 16 different suspects will go before a judge to be officially charged in the sweeping voter fraud investigation, including the city secretary.

All 16 people will be arraigned on charges of illegal voting.

They're accused of changing their address to Edinburg so they could vote in the 2017 city elections even though they didn’t' live in Edinburg.

In all, 22 people are charged in this investigation including Mayor Richard Molina and his wife, Dalia.
