CON MI GENTE: Longhorns and Aggies
BROWNSVILLE - The University of Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies are sitting down together again at the same table and they're doing it with a smile on their faces and having fun.
This was unthinkable at one time. Arch rivals, UT Longhorns and A&M Aggies are joining hands and having fun together.
It used to be an annual event but it stopped in 2011 when the Longhorns and the Aggies stopped playing against each other.
They’re raising money for scholarships primarily for students going to either UT or A&M.
They call it 'The Waiter's Challenge.' Enjoy the food, the drinks, the atmosphere and give the waiters a nice tip.
It's the Texas Longhorns and the Texas Aggies. Once again having fun together for a mutual cause.
