La Joya ISD Upgrades Security in High Schools
LA JOYA – La Joya Independent School District is back in session with security upgrades.
All five high schools in the district now have a buzzer at the front door.
La Joya ISD Police Chief says officers and teachers also participated in active shooter training over the summer.
He says the next possible security feature could be metal detectors.
