2 dead in crash of small plane north of Houston
CONROE, Texas (AP) - Authorities say two people died when a small plane crashed during takeoff from an airport north of Houston.
Texas Department of Public Safety officials said that the pilot and passenger died in the crash Saturday evening during takeoff an airport in Conroe, located about 45 miles (72 kilometers) north of Houston. Officials say the plane was a Cessna A 185F Skywagon.
The victims' identities have not been released.
