HARLINGEN – With a heavy heart, Honorary Harlingen Officer Abigail Arias has passed away.

The 7-year-old was welcomed by numerous departments in Texas.

When she was 4 years old, Abigail was diagnosed with Wilms tumor.

While her fight came to an end, the amount of people she has touched with her spirit will never be forgotten.

We offer our condolences to her family.

Crushed to hear that we lost Officer Abigail today. She had an incredible spirit and put up a heck of a fight against cancer, doing it all with a smile.
