PHARR – The International Food Festival is an opportunity to experience different cultures.

The event is held every year at the St. George Orthodox Church in Pharr.

"We cover the world. We have members from Greece, from Ethiopia, from the Philippines, from all over eastern Europe,” says Elizabeth Perdome, International Food Festival.

Those attending the even can try various foods from different countries, such as German cookies, jelly and honey from Italy and Greece, and even foods similar to those at home – tamales.
