Brownsville fire damages restaurant; no injuries reported
The Brownsville Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a local restaurant on Tuesday morning.
Fire officials said crews were called to C&C Wings in the 2000 block of Central Boulevard around 5:30 a.m. following reports of smoke coming from the roof.
When firefighters arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the roof near one corner of the building. Crews launched an offensive attack and contained the fire to a small area of the restaurant.
The building was empty at the time, and no injuries were reported.
