EDINBURG – More help is on the way for low-income families in need in Hidalgo County.

The Hidalgo County Community Service Agency says they’ll be able to provide utility assistance for a longer period.

Agency Director Jaime Longoria explained at the end of last year, they received about a million dollars from the state.
