In the 80's, professional wrestling was all the rage and the Von Erich Boys of Dallas-Fort Worth were at the top of the attraction, but it was not all glamour.

Lance by Chance, is a book about Lance Vaughan known in the wrestling world as Lance Von Erich written by Vinny Berry.

Berry grew up about ten miles from the famous Von Erich Family. 

"I think they were bigger than celebrities," Berry said. "They kind of had rock star status."
