EDINBURG - Jury selection in the trial of two men accused in a Starr County murder will begin Monday in Hidalgo County.

The two men are facing charges in connection with the murder of Chayse Olivarez back in 2017.

Jose Luis Garcia Junior and Salvador Ivan Martinez are both charged in the case.

Their trials were moved to Hidalgo County more than a year ago, due to the high profile nature of the case.

Chayse Olivarez was reported missing on July 30 of 2017.

His body was found on a Starr County ranch in august of that same year.
