Mexican Man Sentenced to 32 Years in Prison for Carjackings at Gunpoint
MCALLEN – A Mexican man will spend the next three decades in prison for two carjacking incidents last year.
Prosecutors say in 2017, Jorge Luis Almanza held up two women separately at gunpoint and demanded they give up their vehicles.
He pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 32 in prison on Wednesday.
