BROWNSVILLE – Police are investigating a major accident involving six vehicles in Brownsville.

The crash happened north of Veterans International Bridge near University Drive. Officials said six people were taken to the hospital.

Police has since cleared the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
