'Never seen anything like that:' Reactions to Starship's 10th launch
Tuesday’s 10th launch of SpaceX’s Starship rocket is a moment 89-year-old Bill McCarley said he can finally scratch off of his bucket list.
“It was just one of the things I hadn't seen before, and I wanted to get it in,” McCarley said.
McCarley traveled over 600 miles from Gainesville with his daughter to Isla Blanca Park to see Starship blast off from SpaceX’s city of Starbase.
Tuesday’s launch was delayed twice this week due to the weather and a technical issue.

McCarley's daughter — Debbie Parsley — said she was willing to wait for the launch if it meant she could see her dad smile.
“I have never seen anything like that, such power,” McCarley said.
McCarley and the more than 100 people who witnessed the launch at Isla Blanca Park now have a snapshot of the sights and sounds of a rocket taking off. It's something McCarley said he hopes others can also experience in their lifetime.
Starship landed in the Indian Ocean, and the super heavy booster made its way to the Gulf Coast.
SpaceX said they deemed the launch a success.
