NFL Players to Visit the Valley in Support of Migrants and Asylum Seekers
WESLACO – NFL players Josh Norman of the Washington Redskins and Demario Davis of the New Orleans Saints will visit the Rio Grande Valley to help provide resources for asylum seeking families.
The pro players are teaming up with Cambio Texas, a Rio Grande Valley based non-profit and advocacy organization.
Norman and Davis are expected to visit an migrant shelters in Brownsville on Wednesday, April 17 and Thursday, April 18.
The football stars will also meet with migrant families waiting for their asylum case at the Brownsville-Matamoros international port of entry.
