The Texas Department of Transportation announced lane and ramp closures in Cameron County for milling, striping, and paving operations.

According to a news release, TxDOT crews will be working on the northbound and southbound I-69E frontage roads between FM 732 in San Benito and FM 511 in Olmito.

The work will begin on Monday, June 22, and is expected to be completed by July 3, according to the news release. Road crews will be present from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays if necessary.

The news release said roadway maintenance will address surface imperfections for a smoother ride and enhance safety.

Drivers should plan for minor delays and proceed with caution in work zones.
