WESLACO - United States Senator John Cornyn is in the Rio Grande Valley to discuss flooding issues.

Senator Cornyn is meeting with Hidalgo County Judge, Richard Cortez and other local officials.

They will be touring areas affected by the floods earlier this year, and back in 2018.

Cornyn will also meet with representatives from the Army Corps of Engineers and the IBWC.
