SAN BENITO – A Rio Grande Valley school district’s concerns with an unofficial Facebook page are now over.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS reported last week about San Benito Consolidated Independent School District trying to get a fake profile for San Benito High School taken down for two years.

Just days after the story aired, the page claiming to be managed by school officials disappeared.

San Benito CISD police had reached out to Facebook, but never heard back.
