Unofficial social media page remains a concern to San Benito CISD officials
SAN BENITO – An unofficial social media page is causing real issues for a Rio Grande Valley school district.
It’s a big frustration for the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District. The district has been waiting since Oct. 2018 for Facebook to help.
On the official San Benito High School Facebook page, its estimated 3,600 followers will find real information from administrators. On the other, people will find profanity the user posts.
It’s a real problem for the district and a problem for its police department. The concern is about misinformation spreading.
