Walmart working to meet demand, safety during pandemic
WESLACO – A national retailer says it’s doing more to hire, restock and sanitize its stores. The moves address both demands and safety.
The coronavirus pandemic continues to have people flock to large stores. The high traffic is raising concerns among Walmart’s customers.
The retailer says it is in the middle of hiring 150,000 new employees to help meet those demands.
