WESLACO – Residents in a Weslaco neighborhood have another concern aside from flooding: possible gas leaks.

Some homeowners tell CHANNEL 5 NEW they can hear and smell gas.

The Weslaco fire chief says there’s no threat to the public as of yet. He says gas companies are assessing the affected areas.
