ALAMO – Police are on the scene following a fatal hit-and-run wreck Sunday morning.

The scene is along the westbound Frontage Road between Alamo and Cesar Chavez roads.

Department of Public Safety Lt. Johnny Hernandez says his agency is assisting in the investigation.

The westbound I-2 Frontage Road is closed from Alamo to Cesar Chavez roads while police investigate.

Drivers are advised to use an alternate route.
