MCALLEN – Investigators are trying to figure out what lead to the death of a woman found inside a McAllen hotel room.

Sgt. Saenz with the McAllen Police Department said they received a call from the Red Roof Inn on the 1300 block of South 9th Street around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Although no foul play is suspected, the cause of death remains unknown.

An autopsy has been ordered.
