Deadline to Comment on Border Wall Plans Coming Up
WESLACO – Time is running out to respond to the government on thoughts about the border wall plans.
Earlier this year, Customs and Border Protection officials sent out a notice of request for public comment.
The comments are regarding levee and border wall system construction projects in Starr, Hidalgo and Cameron County.
Earlier this month we reported around 50 comments posted, now there are more than 600.
Residents who wish to comment can visit the regulations government website.
