Weslaco parent concerned for his child amid virtual learning
A Weslaco parent is concerned his child won’t get the education he needs, because of the overpopulation in his first grade class.
Weslaco Resident Jose Lopez said he transferred his son to Memorial Elementary due to the location. However, the weekend before school started they received a call from the school that his son wouldn’t be able to be in the class.
"He's got a class and a teacher that he's with, but he's not technically her student," Lopez said
