3 Victims of Fatal Accident in Donna in Stable Condition

UPDATE (12/24 5:00 p.m.): The three survivors from last week's deadly crash are now in stable condition.

UPDATE (5 p.m.): Authorities have now identified all the victims of a fatal crash in Donna.

Police captain Ric Suarez identified the deceased mother and son as 26-year-old Anna Amanda Rivera, and 8-year-old Juan Miguel Gonzalez. 

The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 67-year-old Ybarra Domingo and her two children 10-year-old Gustavo and 4-year-old Lorenzo Gonzalez who remain in critical condition.

DONNA – Three victims of a fatal accident involving two vehicles south of Donna are in critical condition.

The two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a woman and her 8-year-old son Wednesday.

Investigators say the other two children are in critical condition, as well as the driver of the other vehicle.

The two surviving children attend elementary school in Donna; the child who died also attended school in Donna.

KRGV's Trason Bragg spoke with Donna a resident, Henry Rocha, who lives minutes away from the scene of the accident.

Rocha says safety has become a concern due to the construction on FM-493.
