REYNOSA – Dozens are injured and six people are dead after a bus carrying maquiladora workers flipped over in Reynosa.
The crash happened Tuesday just after midnight along a highway from Reynosa to Rio Bravo.
A first responder in charge said the bus had nearly 80 people onboard. He estimates the bus had a capacity for 40 people.
Nearly all onboard were injured, if not killed.
Officials said the bus was operated privately and carried employees from three maquiladoras.
State officials said witnesses saw the bus going too fast.
