One of the two women arrested in connection with a prostitution investigation at a McAllen massage parlor is now facing additional charges.

Ana Rosa Cabrera Granados, 39, is facing six charges of prostitution in connection with the ongoing investigation. She was initially charged with one count, according to a news release.

Granados was arrested alongside 44-year-old Jassel Mercedes Torres Romero on Thursday. Romero is facing only one charge of prostitution, according to the news release.

The news release said McAllen police, in collaboration with state and federal agencies, were investigating a massage parlor, located at the 4300 block of North 10th Street.

Granados and Romero were arraigned on Friday. Granados was issued a $30,000 and Romero was issued a $3,000 bond, according to the news release. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may follow.
