Authorities Stepping Up Enforcement During Storms

WESLACO – Weslaco police are stepping up safety and enforcement efforts in preparation for an impending storm.

Officers are working on 12-hour shifts to prep, says Weslaco Public Information Officer Eric Hernandez.

He stresses drivers should not cross barricades in flooded roads or they could face a $200 to $500 fine.
