Brownsville ISD Awarded $500K Grant to Improve School Safety
BROWNSVILLE – The Brownsville Independent School District is taking measures to improve school safety.
They were recently awarded nearly $500,000 through the Cops Stop School Violence grant.
The grant will allow the district to partner with the county and use resources, such as officers and training.
It will also fund school shooting training for students and staff.
