Health officials in Cameron County confirmed an additional coronavirus-related death and announced 111 more people tested positive on Tuesday.

According to a news release from the county, the patient who died due to COVID-19 was a 21-year-old woman from Indian Lake. Officials now say 1,758 people have tested positive in Cameron County.

Since the start of the pandemic, 1,062 people in Cameron County have recovered and 50 have died.
