The Texas Lottery announced Wednesday that an Edinburg resident claimed a $1 million prize after buying a scratch-off ticket called "Money."

The Edinburg resident, who told the Texas Lottery that he or she wanted to remain anonymous, purchased the ticket at a Stripes convenience store located at the intersection of North Bicentennial Boulevard and Hackberry Avenue in McAllen.
