FBI agents are in Pharr's Las Milpas area conducting “court- authorized law enforcement activities,” according to an FBI San Antonio spokesperson.

Channel 5 News cameras also spotted Pharr police officers and deputies with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, but spokespersons for those agencies said they’re just assisting their federal partners.

La Milpas Road was blocked off Thursday morning, but at around noon it appeared to be reopening.
