Hidalgo County Youth Council launches survey on resident concerns over data centers
Hidalgo County, TX (KRGV) — The Hidalgo County Future Leaders Council put a new survey online for residents ages 21 to 29 to share what they think about data centers.
The group will present the feedback to county commissioners to show where young adults stand on the issue. So far, 100 people have responded.
“We're hearing from our age group that they're concerned. They're seeing what's happening in Brownsville, and in Harlingen, and we just want to know and get ahead of the game,” Hidalgo County Future Leaders Council member Andrek Gonzalez said.
The survey will stay active until the council gets 300 responses.
