EDINBURG – A bailiff was taken into custody shortly after law enforcement activity was reported at the Hidalgo County courthouse, according to an FBI spokesperson.

Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra says the FBI agents were present at the County Court No. 6 Friday afternoon.
