A McAllen man suffered major injuries after crashing into an RV park in Donna.

The Donna Police Department responded to the crash after OnStar reported a possible vehicle accident on Monday, Aug. 31, at around 11:40 p.m. The scene was located at an RV park in the 200 block of West Expressway 83.

According to Donna Fire Chief David S. Simmons, officers found that a red Ford Fusion had struck a fence and an unoccupied recreational vehicle.

The car sustained extensive damage and the male driver suffered major injuries. No other occupants were inside the vehicle.

The Donna Fire Department and Med-Care EMS responded to the scene. The driver was responsive but not speaking. He was transported to South Texas Health System in McAllen.
