New Windmill Farm in Willacy Co. Brings in More Jobs
NEAR RAYMONDVILLE – A new windmill farm is up and running in Willacy County.
The project brought in more local jobs compared to past projects. Half of the workers hired for the project were locals.
Honorary Aurelio “Keter” Guerra, a Willacy County Judge, says it has been a financial boost for the community.
The new windmill farm brings the total of windmills to 76, which is enough to power more than 68,000 homes.
