SOUTH PADRE ISLAND - The Rio Grande Valley won’t be seeing a white Christmas this year. 

Temperatures in the upper 70s mean no snowmen for the holidays, but one city is making the most out of our warm Christmas. 

You won't find snowmen but instead you'll find a sand-man and “Sandta” 

At the South Padre Island Holiday Sand Castle Village you'll see the artists’s names and backstories, and if you visit after sun down you'll find a light display cued to music. 

The Sand Castle Village is located at 106 W Marlin St., near Louie's Backyard and open until January13th.
