A man turned himself in to authorities after a warrant was issued for his arrest for allegedly stealing two goats.

According to Rio Grande City Animal Control Director Eli Gonzalez, Alejandro Hernandez turned himself in Tuesday. He allegedly stole the goats from someone else's property.

Hernandez is facing a charge of livestock theft.

The warrant was issued following an investigation by Rio Grande City Animal Control.
