MISSION – National Guard troops from South Carolina will be coming to Mission to support border security. 

The South Carolina National Guard confirms one UH-72A Lakota helicopter and a crew of nine guardsmen will assist in efforts of ‘Operation Guardian Support’.

An additional crew is expected to join the deployment next month.
