Suspect Charged in Connection to Rio Grande City Car Break-In Investigation
RIO GRANDE CITY - One person is facing charges in connection to a handful of car break-ins in Rio Grande City.
The 51-year-old has been charged with five counts of burglary of a vehicle, theft of property and burglary of a building.
Investigators say a trail of items taken from the cars led them to a nearby business.
They say there were obvious signs someone broke into the building.
Several were items taken from there as well.
Police say...They were able to track down Cruz after receiving information that he put at least one stolen item up for sale.
