The UTRGV football team is officially on a winning streak. After a third straight win to start the year against Langston last Saturday, the team will look to make it four in a row this coming weekend.

UTRGV welcomes in the Texas Wesleyan Rams for what will be the Vaqueros only stretch of back-to-back home games this fall.

The Rams are off to a 1-1 start to the season and come from the same conference as last week's opponent.

However, Texas Wesleyan comes in with a little more pedigree. The Rams finished with a 10-1 record last fall, with their only loss coming in the final game of the season.

"They're multiple; they come after you," Vaqueros head coach Travis Bush said. "They're going to move people around and get into different coverages, so they're going to put some pressure on us with their defense. Offensively, they're very multiple as well. They're a good, well-coached ball team, and it's going to boil down to details and execution."

Kickoff on Saturday in Edinburg is set for 7:00 p.m. at Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium.
